This past weekend, radio lost one of the "good guys." Casey Kasem was an icon, a legend, and a great guy. I was greatful when I started in radio that I got to run the control board for his show. I never knew until that point in time, it was shipped on CD to the radio station that Wednesday for airplay on Sunday. About 5-7 years before that, it was still sent out on Vinyl. I never met Casey, nor did a lot of people, but I considered him a friend. Thanks for the memories Casey, your legacy as a broadcaster will never be forgotten.
