Phillip Phillips and Matt Nathanson are joining forces for a summer headlining tour that will include A Great Big World as a special guest on most dates. Eric Hutchinson will perform on the rest.
On his Facebook page, Matt notes that the tour, which he jokingly calls "Dudefest USA," will feature he and Phillip performing sets of the same length. Matt adds that the tour will mark the first time he'll be showcasing material from his most recent album, Show Me Your Fangs, with a full band -- he'd only previously toured it acoustically.

Gwen Stefani says that while her kids don’t see her as a pop star, they're still pretty psyched for her new music -- particularly her collaboration with Fetty Wap.
“They’re excited for me to have new music,” Gwen tells Entertainment Weekly of her three boys: Kingston, Zuma and Apollo. “And I got Fetty Wap on my record! They’re excited about that!”
“But,” she adds, “it’s funny how kids really don’t want you to do anything except be their mom. I’d write new songs and be like ‘Let’s listen on the school run!’ They’re like, ‘No, Mom! Put on the TV!’”…
Taylor Swift isn’t just a cat lady -- she loves dogs, too. The singer recently spent some quality time with her mom’s Great Dane, and posted a couple of Instagram videos of their bonding session.
In the first video, the huge black-and-white speckled dog attempts to sit on Taylor’s lap as she lounges on the couch. “Thanks. Thanks for the hug,” Taylor says.
The second clip features Taylor squirting whipped cream into her mouth and the dog licking her face. “My mom's dog is named Kitty,” Taylor captions the video. “And yet, she is nothing like a cat.”
Rihanna shines on the cover of the April issue of Vogue, in which she speaks on a wide range of topics, including her collaboration with Puma and her New York Fashion show. But Rihanna also made sure to share her thoughts on being pitted against Beyoncé.
“They just get so excited to feast on something that’s negative," says Rihanna. "Something that’s competitive. Something that’s, you know, a rivalry. And that’s just not what I wake up to."
If you recall, the comparisons began anew after Beyonce released her "Formation" video almost a week after Ri's long-awaited album, ANTI. An un-bothered…
Adele had another emotional moment during her concert Wednesday night. During her second night at London’s O2 Arena, the singer told the crowd her three-year-old son, Angelo, was watching her perform on stage for the first time.
"This is the first show my baby boy's seen me do," Adele said, according to a fan who live-tweeted the show.
Adele then got choked up while singing “Someone Like You,” and paused the song to give a sweet shout-out to her little one. "I love you so much, peanut," she said, while pointing into the audience.
Adele also had her family on…
Zayn Malik has released the latest track from his debut solo album. “BeFoUr,” which was first previewed in a behind-the-scenes video of Zayn’s FADER magazine cover shoot back in November, is now available as an instant download for fans who pre-order Mind of Mine.
Some have suggested the song’s lyrics refer to Zayn’s decision to break away from One Direction. “Time for me to move up/So many hours have gone/Heart beats the pump of my blood/No strings for you to pull on,” he sings.
The title’s spelling could also have a double meaning: “BeFoUr,” as in the boy band went…
It seems March Madness fans really like Taylor Swift. According to new data from StubHub, she’s the most represented artist on a list of the preferred live musical acts of college basketball fans around the country.
To come up with the ranking, the online ticket retailer cross-referenced college basketball ticket purchases with concert ticket sales over the past year. They used this data to figure out which musical acts were most popular with the top 25 March Madness teams.
Fans of Kansas, North Carolina, Villanova and West Virginia purchased Taylor Swift concert tickets the most out of any artist. Meanwhile,…
Swedish singer Zara Larsson is a big star back in her home country and in Europe, but she's now climbing the charts in the U.S. with her dance hit "Never Forget You." The 18-year-old, who first found fame on a Swedish reality show in 2008, says she's ready to take America by storm, explaining, "I feel like a veteran."
"Never Forget You" is a collaboration with British songwriter and producer MNEK [em enn EEE kay], and while the lyrics sound like they're about lost love, the video offers another interpretation: It tells the touching story of a girl's lifelong friendship…

Little Mix began their Get Weird tour in Wales on Sunday and they're already catching flack for their revealing costumes. But the ladies are not about to apologize. Group member Perrie Edwards defends their choice of skimpy outfits to U.K.’s The Mirror.
“We wear what we feel comfortable in,” she says. “We’re not overly sexy in what we do anyway. We go for sexy/cute. We’d never want to be scandalous.”
She adds, “I think we’ve got the right kind of balance. Some of us are 24. We aren’t going to be able to wear stuff like this for the rest…
