A senior at Oshkosh North High School is the Youth of the Year at the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh.
Brandon Moench says he’s been a club member since he was six years old. Without the club, he says he wouldn’t be anywhere close to the person he is now. He says he’s much more outgoing, and he loves making everyone happy.
Moench is a part of the club’s Keystone Leadership Group. He says they volunteer in the community, and get involved with projects.
He also won a $10,000 scholarship.
Moench will compete for the state Youth of the Year award in March.
