Advocates for sexual assault victims say they’re still available for support.
Holli Fisher is the program manager at the Sexual Assault Center at Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin. She says in some cases, victims have to stay at home with their abuser.
She says victims need to know they can still get help, and they’re just a phone call or video chat away. She says survivors could be struggling with increased depression, anxiety, or PTSD during the pandemic.
