Outagamie County is closing Plamann Lake for the summer to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Parks Director Loren Dieck says the lake isn’t chlorinated, and they don’t know how the virus reacts in fresh water. He says the county’s inflatable water features have a number of common touch points.
