Governor Tony Evers calls President Trump’s lawsuit seeking to overturn the results of the election in Wisconsin a “shocking and outrageous assault on our democracy”. The Trump campaign is asking the state Supreme Court to throw out hundreds of thousands of absentee ballots–claiming applications were not filled out properly and that clerks in Dane and Milwaukee counties filled in some information on their own. The Governor maintains nothing was done differently this year than in 2016. The state Supreme Court has not yet set any hearing dates on the President’s lawsuit.
