Wisconsin Timber Rattlers announce new ownership structure

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are under new ownership. A group called Third Base Ventures L-L-C are purchasing the team from Appleton Baseball Club Incorporated and Fox Cities Stadium from the Fox Cities Amateur Sports Authority. The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are also included in the package. Current Timber Rattlers President Rob Zerjav and Craig Dickman are the main partners in Third Base. Zerjav says the financial impact of COVID-19 made going privately-held a necessity.  The change in ownership will not mean any changes in the T-Rats’ affiliation with the Milwaukee Brewers, and most existing staff will stay in place.
