Sculptures placed in Appleton parks and public spaces will be staying longer than expected. Sculpture Valley launched a program to bring artworks to the city with two year leases–but now Director Alex Schultz says the artists don’t want to take them back. The Appleton Common Council has already approved an extension of the placement of “The Collective” at the west end of the College Avenue Bridge. Sculptures in Jones and Vulcan Heritage parks are next to receive two-year extensions.
