Former Morgan Door site in Oshkosh sold to new developer

A prime strip of riverfront property in downtown Oshkosh is under new ownership. The former Morgan Door Company site has been sold to a firm in Ohio. A group of local developers called the Morgan Group initially purchased the site in 2016 with plans for a multi-purpose development including apartments and retail. Nothing was ever built on the property. A real estate broker representing the new owners will only say that the proposed development will not be residential nor industrial–and an announcement on the plans will be made early next year. The purchase price has not been disclosed. The city has already approved tax incremental financing incentives for that site.
