BACHELOR IN PARADISE’S MAURISSA GUNN AND RILEY CHRISTIAN ANNOUNCE BREAKUP: In a statement released to People, Bachelor in Paradise alums Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian announced that they ended their engagement a couple of weeks ago. "We have decided to go our separate ways. Never did we imagine this, but we've come to a point where we both need to work on ourselves. We've appreciated everyone's love and support so far throughout our journey and we just ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate through this," the former couple wrote. Gunn and Christian were the first Black couple in Bachelor in Paradise history to become engaged.
ANT ANSTEAD’S TWO OLDEST KIDS MEET RENEE ZELLWEGER: People reports that Ant Anstead’s two oldest kids, Amelie and Archie, whom he shares with his first wife, Louise Storey, met Renee Zellweger over the holidays while they were visiting from the UK. "It was great," the Radford Returns star said. "I mean, Renée's so personable, and so great with people, and they've met a few times on FaceTime, so everybody was excited to finally get together." Anstead and Zellweger have been dating for seven months.
ANDY COHEN COMMENTS ON JENNIE NGUYEN’S FACEBOOK POSTS: Following a series of controversial posts that resurfaced from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Jennie Nguyen’s Facebook page, executive producer Andy Cohen is breaking his silence. “The posts were very upsetting … and disgusting,” Cohen said on Radio Andy Monday (January 24th). According to Page Six, Nguyen reposted a number of memes that denounced the Black Lives Matter movement, including a photo of Ken Jeong’s character from Community cupping his hands to yell, with text that reads, “If you follow the officers [sic] orders, you won’t get shot.” Cohen added, “I just want to say, in case anyone doesn’t realize it, that there are many serious discussions happening right now about everything — about everything. And I can’t address the situation right now, but it will be addressed very soon, and thank you for your patience.”
PAT SAJAK APOLOGIZES TO BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH FOR NOT KNOWING WHO HE WAS: In a recent episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Pat Sajak asked Tatyana Ali to explain to viewers who Benedict Cumberbatch was, for those who didn’t know. Ali responded, "Benedict Cumberbatch is an actor, right?" Sajak laughed and said, "I didn't have the answer so I pretended like I was just saying, 'So tell us. I, of course, know it but you tell us.' And that was a little host trick." Sajak then added, "My apologies, Mr. Cumberbatch. But I spend a lot of time in my basement. I have no idea what's going on."
