Is your house still filled with marshmallow rabbits?
Here are four recipes to enjoy with those leftover sugary Easter treats.
Easter Peeps S’mores Dip
Pour chocolate chips into a 9×9 baking dish and arrange the Peeps bunnies on top. Pop in the oven for about 6-7 minutes (take out when the bunnies start to puff and brown). Enjoy immediately with graham crackers or pretzels.
Toasted Marshmallow Easter Peeps Milkshake
Toast peeps on a foil-lined baking sheet under a broiler, until light brown. Put ice cream and milk in the blender and start to combine, then add the toasted Peeps and blend. Put a few drops of food coloring (matching your Peeps) into the milkshake and continue blending. Pour the milkshake into a marshmallow and sprinkle-rimmed glass and garnish with a Peep. Enjoy!
Chocolate-Dipped Peeps
Melt chocolate candy coating or chocolate chips in a bowl in the microwave until smooth. Dip the bottom of your Peep into the melted chocolate and then carefully place onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Add sprinkles (or nuts or other decorations) onto the chocolate while it is wet. Place your baking sheet into the fridge for about 10 minutes to allow your chocolate to set.
Marshmallow Peep Martini
This one’s just for the grown ups! Pour marshmallow flavored vodka, simple syrup and heavy cream into an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake. Strain into a sugar-rimmed glass and garnish with a Peep.
