TOWN OF CHARLESTON, Wis. — A De Pere teen is killed in a crash in Calumet County.
Sheriff’s officials say the 16-year-old girl hit a tree off of Lemke Road in the town of Charleston around 7:45 p.m. Thursday. She died at the scene.
The passenger, a 17-year-old boy from Green Bay, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
