Should we be worried or… ?
What the hell, Zuck! When one of the richest men in the world is planning a massive doomsday bunker on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, you’ve got to ask yourself “Why?!”

What does the Z-Man know that we don’t? Reports indicate that Zuckerberg’s massive $100 million dollar compound called “Koolau Ranch” is located on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. Here’s what we know about the bunker/compound so far:
- It will consist of more than a dozen buildings
- It has two central mansions that will be connected by a tunnel that leads to a 5,000-square-foot underground shelter with an escape hatch accessible by ladder
- At least 30 bedrooms
- 30 bathrooms
- Slew of guest houses
- 11 “disk-shaped” treehouses joined together by rope bridges
- A subterranean bunker will hold a living space and mechanical room and feature an apparent “blast-resistant” concrete and steel door
And that’s just what we know.
Zuck made every one of the hundreds of construction workers, no matter what their ranking, sign NDAs.
I used to think all of the doomsday preppers you read about and see on TV were just a bunch of kooks, but after seeing what’s happening around the world and seeing how nutty people are, I get it.
Interestingly, the recently released Netflix movie Leave The World Behind has a moment where this makes sense! There’s a scene where a man is explaining that the rich and powerful people in the world get access to information before the rest of us. So, they’re more prepared and better equipped to survive in a doomsday scenario.
THIS SOUNDS LIKE THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT’S GOING ON.
Honestly though, if I had 118 billion dollars I would do exactly this. Live on your own Hawaiian island with everything you need, INCLUDING TREEHOUSES, sounds like a dream come true. 118 billion dollars is an absolutely STUPID amount of money that you could never blow in your lifetime.
