It’s always strange to me when old things become cool again, and I know there’s a psychological reason for it (probably), but it always amazes me.
If you’re a millennial like me, you more than likely had this Nokia cell phone (in the photo above), or something like it. It was impossible to destroy, had the battery of a champ, did its job, and had the snake game on it, which was the most addicting thing ever. Think Candy Crush, but weirdly better. And with less ads. No ads, to be exact.
Then phones just started getting more updated and ridiculous and we became obsessed with our phones and they started ruining our lives. Well, NOT ANYMORE!
Nokia is bringing back this gem! It’s the all-new Nokia 3210! And it bears a striking resemblance to its predecessor, with some modern, but not over-the-top upgrades.
And just in case you thought I was joking about the rebirth of the Nokia 3210, here it is in all its glory! Nice work on the unboxing, @Basil_Knows ! It really is as cute in the flesh as it appears on here! pic.twitter.com/qC6hFeRwf3

The new 3210 comes with a full-color display, a 2-megapixel camera, a cheap price tag, and that same awesome long-lasting battery.
AND OF COURSE, THE SNAKE GAME.
No one is saying you have to ditch your $1,500 smartphone, but this phone actually has a purpose for a number of people. You could ditch your smartphone if you’re sick of all the screen time and all the distractions, while still not being cut off from the world. You might have a child who needs a first phone, this could be perfect. Or this could be a very cheap alternative to a backup or emergency phone. This could also be a great phone for the festival-going types for its cheapness, long battery, and simplicity.
