Chris Hemsworth is in talks to join the crossover film between the Transformers and G.I. Joe franchises. The project was teased in last year’s Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts and then officially confirmed by Paramount at this year’s CinemaCon. In that film, Anthony Ramos’ character Noah meets Agent Burke, played by Michael Kelly, who is revealed to work for the G.I. Joes. This would be the first time the two popular ’80s brands come together on the big screen, although they have previously crossed over in Marvel comics. Hemsworth already stars in the animated film Transformers One as the voice of young Optimus Prime, opening in theaters on Sept. 20. (THR)
