Handheld gaming has always been a big deal, but it seems now more than ever. The ability to take your games with you anywhere is honestly the most important luxury in my life, only behind Costco and breathing.
The Nintendo Switch has completely changed the landscape of handheld gaming, so it’s no surprise other companies want to hitch a ride on those coattails. The SteamDecek has also popped off, allowing you to play even more robust games on the go. And now it seems, Atari is getting in on the mix, and in a super cool way.
It’s called the Atari GameStation, and it features hundreds of classic games like Pac-Man, Centipede, Missile Command, and more. It’s also just really cool looking. It features, a D-Pad, Joypad, shoulder buttons, and even an old-school arcade-style trackball!
The Atari GameStation is set to have a $150 price point and be out sometime in 2025.
