Menasha Police make an example of a reckless motorcycle operator [VIDEO]

MENASHA, Wis–Menasha Police are making an example of a reckless motorcycle operator. On its Facebook page, the department has posted traffic camera footage of a biker attempting to run a red light at Racine and 3rd Street around 11:00 this (Thursday) morning.

We recently saw a motorcyclist zipping through traffic like he had a cape on—no sirens, no lights, just some very creative lane choices. While we admire the enthusiasm , we genuinely care about your safety. Speeding, weaving, and surprise lane changes might feel thrilling—but they also increase the chance of a crash that no one wants to see. Especially when you run a red light, pop a wheelie, and fall over. So if that was you… this isn’t a ticket, it’s a check-in. Ride like someone’s waiting for you at home. The post adds that the same motorcyclist had been spotted weaving through traffic while speeding before his crash. The department encourages the rider to be more responsible in the future.
