APPLETON, Wis. — Appleton police have a burglary suspect in custody.
Officers were called to a large warehouse in the 600 block of E. Hancock Street around 1:10 a.m. Friday on the report of a burglary in progress.
K-9 units and drones were used to help search the building for the suspect. Scott Gandt was eventually found and taken into custody without incident.
Gandt is charged in Outagamie County Court with burglary, attempted theft and possession of burglarious tools and meth — all as a repeat offender.
