OSHKOSH, WI — Oshkosh Police respond to a disturbance at Merrill Middle School. Around 2:15 this afternoon, a school resource officer requested emergency assistance at the school for a large physical altercation between several individuals. Earlier in the day, a fight occurred between two students. The afternoon altercations involved family members and acquaintances of the students. Several adults and one juvenile were taken into custody. No weapons were involved in the disturbance. The incident forced the school to go on lockdown for several hours. Police officers had the situation under control within about 11-minutes. Anyone with additional information on the incident is asked to contact Oshkosh Police.
