SEYMOUR, Wis–A filing error means there will not be a referendum on the ballot next month in the Seymour School District. The district planned to ask voters for $12.5 million above the state-mandated revenue cap over the next three years.
Administrator Kelly Bohn says they sent the paperwork to the Shawano County Clerk, but failed to get the information to the Outagamie County Clerk’s office before the deadline………….
Bohn adds that will require them to make some difficult choices in their 2024 budget…………………….
The next time the district can go to referendum will be in February of 2024.
