The NEW Zoo in Suamico welcomes a very tall, new resident. Nigel the giraffe comes to Brown County from a zoo in Erie, Pennsylvania. Director Neil Anderson says Nigel is adjusting well to sharing space with their resident female–Zuri. Anderson adds that they hope the giraffe couple will also breed at the zoo. The Giraffe Feeding Experience at the NEW Zoo will reopen to the public on Friday.
