A local police officer is doing his part to remember law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
It’s National Police Week, and thousands of officers would normally take part in a bike ride to Washington D.C.
Pulaski Officer Kyle Betzner’s first ride was five years ago, to honor State Trooper Trevor Casper. The 21-year-old was killed in a shootout in Fond du Lac.
The annual event was cancelled because of coronavirus, but Betzner is still riding, alone.
Yesterday’s 75-mile ride ended at Casper’s memorial in Fond du Lac.
