The festival will feature 24 local bands with music starting at 9 a.m.
APPLETON, Wis. – Octoberfest, an event of the Fox Cities Chamber, proudly returns for its 37th consecutive year on Saturday, September 29, 2018. The festival will feature a full day of music representing a wide variety of genres including rock, indie, Cajun-zydeco, bluegrass, hip-hop, oldies, blues and polka. This year’s lineup includes 24 local bands, including new acts and many returning favorites.
“We are excited to again provide a full day of music and a variety of genres at this year’s Octoberfest,” said Eric Stadler, Octoberfest Event Committee and Entertainment Chairman. “We’ve hand selected a great mix of bands, both returning favorites and first-time Octoberfest performers. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
Due to the success of last year’s morning concerts, five of the six stages will have music beginning at 9 a.m.
